Pay Non-Court-Required Citations Online
Pay non-court-required citations online through our Municipal Court Online Payment System. Access the system by clicking on “Pay My Fine” using the side menu button.
In-Person Payments
You can pay your fines in person at the Municipal Court, 1309 Decatur Hwy, Gardendale, AL 35071, during regular office hours, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Accepted payment methods include:
- Cash
- Money Order/Cashier’s Check
- Debit/Credit Card (3.5% processing fee applies)
NOTE: No personal checks are accepted. Do not send cash by mail.
Mail Payments
To pay by mail:
- Include a signed copy of your ticket.
- Send your payment by money order or cashier’s check (no cash or personal checks).
Drop box option:
- Drop off at 1309 Decatur Hwy, Gardendale, AL 35071.
Court Fees
Court-related fees are set based on the established fee schedule. If court-related fees are paid before your court date, a court appearance may not be necessary. Please check your court documents or contact the court directly if you need clarification.
Traffic Citations
If you have received a traffic citation:
- Minor traffic violations may be resolved by paying the fines before the court date.
- If you have two or more citations, your court appearance will be required.
Partial Payments
Partial payments are available in person, online, via drop box, or by mail to:
1309 Decatur Highway. All partial payments are due by noon on the 3rd Wednesday of each month.
