Located at 861 Main Street, our center is a warm and welcoming space for seniors to connect, relax, and enjoy a wide variety of activities. Open Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, we offer something for everyone—from games and crafts to live music and special events.

Daily and Special Activities
Our vibrant community hosts a variety of engaging activities designed to bring people together and keep things lively:
- Games: Bingo, Bunko, Wheel of Fortune, Let’s Make a Deal, Corn Hole, and Funny Money.
- Crafts: Held once a month for creative fun.
- Shopping Trips: On the 2nd Tuesday of each month, we visit popular spots like The Shops at Grand River, The Summit, or the Promenade in Trussville.
- Guest Speakers: Regular presentations offer valuable information and resources for seniors.
- Live Music:
- Every Tuesday (daytime) features bands like Men in Black or Second Time Around.
- Tuesday and Thursday nights, 6:00 PM–8:00 PM, feature Men in Black (Tuesdays) and Pure Country (Thursdays).
To participate in daily activities, you must be 55 or older. Join us for fun, friendship, and community!
Lunch Program
Lunch is provided by the United Way of Alabama and is served daily from 11:15 AM to 11:30 AM. Here’s what you need to know:
- Eligibility:
- Ages 60 and up who reside in Jefferson County.
- Participants must complete the FY24 Participant Enrollment Form.
- Sign-in Requirement: If you plan to eat, please sign in by 10:15 AM on the day of service.
- Meal Guidelines: Meals are first-come, first-served, and orders are submitted to United Way a week in advance.
- Cost: There is no charge for meals, but a suggested donation of $2.00 helps United Way cover food costs.
